I now realize why I've put off moving for so long. I absolutely hate packing. I was happy to learn that I'll be flying via WestJet, who still allow two checked bags, as opposed to Air Canada, who now charge extra for a second checked bag. I thought two suitcases would be more than enough room for everything that I cannot live without. I was wrong.
Early today, I started a "take" pile, into (onto) which I put everything that I'd like to take with me. As the day progressed, those two suitcases, lying open on my bed, have shrunk to about 1/4 of their original size. This is not aided by the fact that I'll be substituting my carry-on with my ukulele (hopefully, if they'll allow it.)
Either way, I'll be heading out in the morning. I'm just not sure yet how much I'll be leaving behind.
