Ever since high school, I've always wanted to make it out to BC. Well, a couple days ago, i finally got my wish. Unfortunately, it's not quite what I had in mind.
As the picture would suggest (geotagged as always, if interested), I'm at another rig, somewhere deep in the woods in BC. I had to drive all night to get here, so I'm not too sure I'll be able to find my way out again when/if I get to leave.
It snowed here yesterday, and it's been pretty cold. Cold enough for the snow to stick around, and for me to have to scrape my windshield, start the truck, and go back inside for a bit to get thawed out. It's realistically not that cold at all, compared to what it will be soon enough. I'm not exactly looking forward to these -40 and below winters they have out here.
I should be leaving here tomorrow, or thursday at the latest. Hard to say if I'll get to go home for a day, or not. I'll likely just get sent to another well. Possibly the one I just came from.
