I finally got around to upgrading the ram in my Mini10v. It wasn't overly painful, but still rather silly to have to completely disassemble the notebook and remove the motherboard just to upgrade the ram.
I believe Microsoft is the culprit, setting the limit of 1 GB of ram for a new pc to be classified as a netbook, something to do with the OEM version of XP.
Anyway, it's much snappier in OSX Leopard now, as well as the other OS's. For the $25 the SODIMM cost, it was well worth it.
