I got my Dell Mini 10v on Monday. I barely spent any time playing with it before I wiped the hard drive, and started the very tedious task of installing 3 operating systems. After a lengthy amount of preparation, I finally got it working as a hackintosh, with XP and Ubuntu Netbook Remix, all in a nifty triple boot setup courtesty of Chameleon bootloader. I briefly considered adding FreeDOS to the mix, making it quad-boot, but I think I'll save that task for another day.

Next step: upgrade to 2GB of RAM. Luckily, my 2 gig SODIMM arrived on Monday as well, but I've run out of time today, so it'll have to wait until the weekend. Unfortunately, in order to upgrade the ram in these things, you have to completely disassemble it, and remove the motherboard. Strangely enough, they did add an access panel to the bottom to allow you to... upgrade the wireless card? Whatever, it'll make a good project for Sunday (Saturday is reserved for the Hip concert.) It's 12:03am, this Canada Day is officially over. ciao
