I am so excited about this. No, this is not an Elvish shortsword...although It would pass for one in a pinch, if the neighbors get rowdy. It's a Japanese gardening tool known as a Hori Hori. I found this at Princess Auto, and now I cannot wait to go dig in the mud. Maybe I'll take it to the beach this weekend and practice.
